Tristan Stubbs has been marvellous in his gameplay and has attracted a lot of attention in all formats. Even during the Test series against the West Indies, he played exceptionally well. Now, in the T20I series, he's showing what he can do with the bat and proving that he's an all-format player. He is one of the best players in South Africa now and has a long future ahead of him.

During the 1st T20I game against West Indies, Stubbs hit a huge six, which went out of the park. It was a beautiful and fearless shot. When South Africa struggled on 69 runs, Stubbs took him out of the situation and scored 76 runs off 42 balls. He hit eight boundaries and three sixes and helped the team reach a respectable score.

Even though South Africa scored 174 runs, West Indies top order destroyed the bowling attack and won the game by seven wickets. Just had to set the game up: Nicholas Pooran

After smashing 65 runs off 26 balls, Nicholas Pooran was given the Player of the Match award. It was an incredible innings that helped West Indies beat the hosts in their backyard. After a disappointing Test series, this win was extremely important for the West Indies players. At the presentation, Pooran praised Stubbs's batting performance and was elated on their win.

"I felt Athanaze and Hope played well. Just had to set the game up. I took on my match-ups. The first 10 overs were tricky when SA were batting. But Stubbs and Kruger played well. We always knew we had a chance," said Nicholas Pooran at the post-match presentation.
