There is a good probability that teams like the Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru will advance to the next round. However, the Chennai Super Kings' hopes of winning the IPL in 2025 were all but dashed. The remaining teams have the opportunity to make last-minute miracles and secure a postseason berth. Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad still got left with some work to do in order to advance to the playoffs, despite their lackluster on-field performance.

SRH batters faced lot of criticism

Although, they still haven't proven it, the IPL 2024 finalist has enough explosives in their arsenal to provide a spectacular display. Cricket analysts criticized the attitude and strategy of the Hyderabad batter. After nine games, the club has six points and is presently in eighth place with five games remaining.  They can earn more than 10 points, or 16 points overall, if they win the final 5 games. Since 16 points is the anticipated cut-off number, SRH has hope.
