Former legendary Indian cricketer, Sunil Gavaskar wished good luck to all the participants in the Kho-Kho World Cup 2025. The prestigious event is being held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, India. Meanwhile, the former legendary Indian skipper extended his wishes for the participants in the tournament, including Team India.

Hi, I am Sunil Gavaskar, I want to wish all the participants in the Kho-Kho World Cup all the very best, play with a great sporting spirit,” said Sunil Gavaskar in a video shared from the official Instagram handle of the Kho-Kho World Cup 2025.

Speaking of Team India’s campaign in the Kho-Kho World Cup 2025, they started their campaign with the tournament opener against Nepal. The men in blue defeated the neighbours by a margin of 42-37 to start their campaign on a winning note.

Indian team is playing under the captaincy of Pratik Waikar and got a huge cheer from the home crowd in the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.

Apart from Pratik Waikar’s men’s Team, India’s women’s team is also participating in the ongoing Kho-Kho World Cup 2025. The women’s team is in action under the captaincy of Priyanka Ingle.
