The veteran DC wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul has been in an impressive run of form with the bat in the ongoing IPL 2025. He is currently the leading run-scorer for the Delhi Capitals in the tournament’s current edition, playing a decisive role in a couple of wins for his side.

Meanwhile, KL has attracted headlines for his recent gesture to the fans, especially the young kids, after the game against KKR. He was seen sharing some heartfelt moments with his fans and also clicked photographs with them.

DC’s IPL 2025 campaign shivers after a brilliant start

Speaking of KL Rahul’s batting performances in the ongoing IPL 2025, he has scored 371 runs in nine innings, with a brilliant batting average of 53.00, hitting three half-centuries. He has been one of the most consistent ‘performers with the bat’ for his side in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.

Coming back to Delhi Capitals, they are currently placed in the fourth spot on the tournament’s points table, with six wins and four defeats in their 10 games so far. They are coming off two consecutive defeats against RCB and KKR, respectively, following an 8-wicket win against LSG. After registering five wins in their first six games, DC have faced three defeats in their last four games, which has been quite concerning for their playoff chances.

Now, the Axar Patel-led side will take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the next match of their campaign, which will be the 55th match of the ongoing IPL 2025. The game will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Monday, May 5. DC will aim to win this game and move up a spot or two in the standings.
