The ‘disappointed’ and ‘gutted’ SRH owner Kavya Maran left the stadium after seeing hopes of his team’s win in the ongoing IPL 2024 Final. Kavya was seen leaving the ground when KKR had scored 66 runs for the loss of just 1 wicket in 5.3 overs while chasing a low target of only 114 runs.

Speaking of the ongoing action of the IPL 2024 Final between the Knight Riders and the Sunrisers, the former have scored 89 runs for the loss of just 1 wicket in 7.5 overs, having ‘number 3 batter’ Venkatesh Iyer and opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz at the individual scores of 44 and 29 runs, respectively. KKR needed 25 runs off 73 balls at the time of filling this copy.

Earlier in the first innings, captain Cummins’ decision to bat first backfired as SRH bundled out at the score of just 113 runs in 18.3 overs. Cummins and Aiden Markram were the only two batters for the side to cross the individual mark of 20+ runs. Cummins scored 24 runs while Markram scored 20 runs.

The veteran all-rounder Andre Russell scalped 3 wickets for KKR in the first innings, alongside two wickets each picked by Mitchell Starc and Harshit Rana. Besides these, Vaibhav Arora, Sunil Narine, and Varun Chakravarthy also bagged one wicket each to bundle out SRH to ensure a strong position for KKR in their hopes of winning the IPL 2024 title.
