Ahead of the clash against India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistan team has received some tips and tricks from their former legendary bowler, Shoaib Akhtar, who shared a video on Twitter while motivating the players. He was on a drive to do the match analysis before the match at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York, where the game will be played. Before reaching the stadium, Akhtar shared some quick tips with the team, which might be helpful during the game.
Akhtar said, "Pakistan, play out of your skin. Play for Pakistan. Don't play for individual records. Nobody remembers any personal milestones. People always remember the match-winning knocks throughout their lives. Please play for Pakistan's morale."
Pakistan and India are playing their second game of the tournament. This win is important for both teams since they want to proceed to the Super 8. While India won their first match, Pakistan lost against the USA. On the other hand, the USA has won two straight games and is a step closer to qualifying. Hence, this game becomes crucial for both teams.

'There can be no bigger shame than that' - Shoaib Akhtar earlier bashed Pakistan team after a loss against USA
Pakistan's loss against the USA was quite costly since the newcomers are in great confidence with two back-to-back wins in the tournament. However, the situation has become quite intense for Pakistan as they will have to play the qualifiers next year for the 2026 World Cup if they fail to win matches. Shoaib Akhtar, on his YouTube channel, explained the situation and also urged the Pakistan team to perform well against India.
"If they lose from here and the USA beat Ireland, then Pakistan will have to play the World Cup qualifiers against Namibia and others next year for the 2026 World Cup. There can be no bigger shame than that. If they can beat India, the rest will be easy, and they will cruise through with extra motivation," said Shoaib Akhtar on his YouTube channel.
