When it's India vs Pakistan, the cricket experts from both countries challenge the players to prove their worth. Recently, while talking to Times of India, former Pakistan keeper-batter Kamran Akmal placed a similar challenge in front of India's star batter, Suryakumar Yadav, who is yet to shine against the men in green in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. While Yadav is at the top position of the rankings, Akmal feels he hasn't done enough to get that position and, hence, should perform against Pakistan to prove his worth.

"Virat Kohli is on top. Second is Suryakumar Yadav. His performance against Pakistan is yet to come, but I will still pick him. Rohit Sharma has already proved himself and has scored runs against Pakistan in ICC events, and now it is Suryakumar Yadav's turn. If he is No. 1, then he should come and score against Pakistan. He hasn't scored big runs against Pakistan whenever he has come to bat," said Kamran Akmal while talking to TOI.

Yadav has played beautifully against many teams except for Pakistan. Firstly, he hasn't had many opportunities, and secondly, he failed miserably whenever he got the chance. Maybe the time has come for him to score against Pakistan and show the world why he's at the top position out of every other batter.

Moreover, as per him, there is pressure on both sides since they are arch-rivals and don't want to lose against each other.

"How you perform on the day matters because both teams have some of the world's best players. The people in both countries are very involved, and I feel it's the only match where there isn't a single ball where you can relax," said Naseem Shah, as quoted by ESPNcricinfo.
