Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan took four wickets in a hurry to rip through the West Indian batting unit. The right-arm off-spin bowler removed the first four batters, leaving the visitors at 22/4 at one stage. This came after the hosts were bowled out for 230 in their first innings on day two of the opening Test in Multan.

Opener Mikyle Louis was the first man out, as Sajid bowled the batter through the gate for one run. Keacy Carty was out for a golden duck after the ball bounced more than he expected, with debutant Muhammad Hurraira fielding at short leg and taking a sharp catch. Skipper Kraigg Brathwaite scored 11 runs from 17 balls, with one boundary, before losing his wicket.

The 32-year-old batter went for a sweep shot against Sajid Khan only to see his stumps get rattled. The final wicket in the crazy spell was that of Kavem Hodge who gave charge only to scoop the ball back to the bowler. Sajid showed tremendous skills as he dove to his left and took a stunning one-handed catch.

Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan help Pakistan score 230

Bad light brought an early end to the day on Friday and the start of day two was delayed yet again due to fog. Once play resumed, Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel batted well to keep the West Indian bowlers at bay. The pair added 141 runs for the fifth wicket before Shakeel was out for 84 runs to Kevin Sinclair.

Left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican then struck when he castled Salman Agha for two runs. Noman Ali was run-out with opening his account and Mohammad Rizwan was out in the very next ball for 71 off 133 balls. Sajid Khan played a breezy knock where he hit 18 runs from 25 balls as the hosts were all out 230 runs.

Jayden Seales and Jomel Warrican were the best bowlers for the visitors as they picked three wickets each. Former skipper Babar Azam was out after scoring just eight runs as he fell on day one to endure a disappointing Test cricket at home.
