Gujarat Titans (GT) easily swatted aside Delhi Capitals’ (DC) challenge to win their IPL 2025 game by ten wickets on Sunday. The win was made possible thanks to Sai Sudharsan who scored his second ever century in the league. The left-handed batter’s first ton had come last season against Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad.
Sai Sudharsan on Sunday seemed to be batting on a different wicket as none of the bowlers could trouble the young batter. In the second ball of the 18th over, Sudharsan hit Kuldeep Yadav straight over the top for a six. Once he reached his ton, the batter fist-pumped and celebrated the moment with his teammate.
Delhi Capitals now have their task cut out as far as their IPL playoff are concerned. Axar Patel and his men are set to take on Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings in their next two games. The Capitals will have to win both matches in a bid to make it to the playoffs and also hope that both Mumbai and Lucknow lose their remaining encounters.
Gujarat Titans coast home to easy win
