Speaking of the action of the game between DC and GT, the visiting skipper, Shubman Gill, won the toss and asked DC to bat first. Batting first, the hosts posted a total of a decent total of 199 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The veteran wicketkeeper-batter and star opener, KL Rahul, smashed a brilliant century, scoring 112 runs off 65 balls, with 14 fours and four sixes. Besides him, Abishek Porel and Axar Patel also contributed 30 and 25 runs, respectively. Arshad Khan, Prasidh Krishna, and Sai Kishore scalped a wicket each for GT in the innings.
