The talented teenage batting prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi showcased a sensational display of batting against GT in the 47th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025. He left everyone awestruck with a sensational 35-ball century to become the youngest batter in the history of the entire T20 cricket to smash the century at the age of just 14 years and 32 days.

The 14-year-old sensation smashed the GT bowlers across all corners of the ground to help RR post a massive score of 87 runs in just 6 overs of the powerplay phase.

RR off to a fiery start to chase the 210-run target

The young opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi has stitched a sensational and outstanding opening partnership of 165 runs for no loss in just 11.2 overs with an unbelievable run rate of 14.55. Vaibhav has smashed the swashbuckling 102 runs off just 36 balls, with seven fours and 11 massive sixes, alongside Jaiswal’s 59 runs off 27 balls, with seven fours and two sixes. Rajasthan Royals now require only 45 runs off 52 balls to win this game against GT.

Earlier in the first innings, the visitors, Gujarat Titans, posted a big total of 209 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, owing to the 84-run knock played by skipper Shubman Gill, followed by Jos Buttler’s 50 runs off just 26 balls, with three fours and four sixes. Opener Sai Sudharsan also scored 39 runs off 30 balls, with 4 fours and a six.

Maheesh Theekshana scalped 2 wickets, alongside a wicket each picked by Jofra Archer and Sandeep Sharma for RR in the first innings.
