Rohit Sharma: (X)
Team India's captain, Rohit Sharma, is known for his carefree attitude during press conferences and during the game as well. In the ongoing first ODI game against India, Rohit was seen using cuss words as the umpire didn't agree to take the review. The incident happened in the 43rd over when Jacob Bethell was batting. Jadeja bowled a beautiful delivery, which drifted away from the left-hander but straightened upon while landing.
The batter looked to sweep the ball but failed to connect with the ball. Hence, the ball hit the thigh pads. Jadeja went on to the mood of cerebrappeal as he thought the umpire would raise his finger. On the contrary, the umpire refrained from giving it out. Jadeja then convinced captain Sharma to take the review, and even after taking it, the on-field umpire wasn't giving the signal to the third umpire. That is when Rohit had an out burst.

England's batters were on fire when the game started, but they eventually ended up losing many wickets. However, Jos Buttler and Jacob Bethell made a stunning partnership in the middle. Apart from them, Jofra Archer did some pinch-hitting to get some extra runs on the board. They ended up scoring 248 runs in the first innings. Now, the Indian batters have a huge task of chasing the score and taking a lead in the series.
Harshit Rana claims three wickets on debut in 1st ODI against England
Pace bowler Harshit Rana made his debut against England in the first ODI game and claimed three wickets, marking a dream start to the career. Rana, who was a bit expensive in the game, went on to dismiss Ben Duckett, Harry Brook, and Liam Livingstone. He maintained the perfect line and length while bowling against England.
Now, India have to chase 249 runs to win the game. While the target doesn't seem to be easy, Indian batters will look forward to playing the entire 50 overs. Jaiswal will have big shoes to fill as he has come into the team as a replacement of Virat Kohli, who was rested due to injury.
