India and England are set to clash against each other for the first match of the three-match ODI series in Nagpur on February 6. The Men in Blue thrashed the Three Lions in the five-match series, winning it 4-1. However, the ODI series is going to be more important as the Champions Trophy is set to begin on February 19.
Meanwhile, ahead of the first ODI, Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir and skipper Rohit Sharma were spotted having a lighthearted and candid moment at the team hotel. In the clip, both can be seen engaged in a fun conversation. Although it is unclear what they were talking about, their body language showed that they were enjoying the moment together.

We know there will be ups and downs: Rohit Sharma
Talking about Rohit, he had the worst time with the bat in the recently concluded BGT series in Australia. The Indian skipper endured a nightmare run, managing only 31 runs across five innings at a dismal average of 6.20. However, the ODI format is entirely different from Tests, and Rohit’s brilliance in ODIs is well known. It will be interesting to see how he performs against England in this three-match ODI series.
Rohit recently attended a presser ahead of the first ODI where he was asked about his confidence playing in the ODI format after having a hard time in the Test format. "Are you Confident going out to bat in the format which gave you the nickname Hitman, despite not too many runs in the Test format?" a reporter asked.
"What kind of a question is that? This is a different format, a different time. As usual, as cricketers, we know there will be ups and downs. I have faced that a lot in my career. This is nothing new to me. We know that every day is fresh, and every series is a new one. I am looking forward to the challenge. Not looking at the past.” Rohit replied.
