Former Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper, Rohit Sharma, was spotted talking to owner Nita Ambani after having yet another poor run with the bat in the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). Rohit Sharma's struggle continues with the bat again. During the game, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Monday at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Rohit was dismissed for 13 runs off 12 balls.
The opening batsman was caught at mid-off and bowled by Andre Russell after hitting one-six during his brief spell out in the middle. Rohit Sharma is struggling to get runs with the bat this season. In the last two games, he scored 0 and 8. However, his batting is not a problem for the team as MI defeated KKR to get their first win of IPL 2025. After Mumbai's victory, Rohit and Nita Ambani were spotted talking after the game about something.

On social media, the video of their conversation has been going viral, leading to a lot of fan speculation. Before Glenn Maxwell surpassed him a few games later, Rohit had the disgrace of having the joint-most ducks in IPL history after being removed for a three-ball duck against the Chennai Super Kings. Rohit's 2024 season, in which he ended as MI's top run scorer, is in complete contrast to his current campaign.
Rohit Sharma faced lot of criticism for his form
In IPL 2024, Rohit Sharma scored 417 runs in 14 matches with a strike rate of 150 and an average of 32.07. In the same season, he scored his second IPL century against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). His form also got deep during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, but in the final against New Zealand, he scored 76 runs off 83 balls, which helped India to win the Champions Trophy after 2013. Meanwhile lot of experts and fans have been criticizing Rohit after his poor performances. He will be keen to get back to his best when they play the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Ekana Stadium on April 4.
