Rohit Sharma's animated reactions after Yashasvi Jaiswal dropped a simple catch of Marnus Labuschagne in the ongoing Boxing Day Test match went viral on social media. The Indian captain was super frustrated with Jaiswal since Labuschagne was batting on 46 runs in 93 balls. After that, Jaiswal dropped two more catches, attracting criticism towards himself.
However, Labuschagne was later dismissed by Mohammed Siraj when he was batting on 70 runs. He did the damage to the Indian team and formed a partnership with Pat Cummins as well. Indian bowlers were terrific throughout the second innings but still couldn't prevent Australia from getting a 300+ lead.
It's been a while since Rohit Sharma is struggling hard to score runs in the red-ball cricket. Speaking about this, former Australian cricketer Mark Waugh said, "The numbers don't lie. They've had a few tough wickets to bat on previous to this tour in India, but you just see even his movement in the field. Even tactically he's been off the pace as well and he gets a used-by date, everyone does."
