India's wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant was seen posing for photographs at the airport ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He was posing with the fans and clicking selfies with them. When Pant captained the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, that was the last time fans saw him play.

In a video posted on Instagram by Viral Bhayani, Pant was seen leaving an airport a few days after Delhi's IPL 2024 collapse. The well-known cricket player was also observed taking selfies with fans.

After nearly 14 months away due to a devastating vehicle accident on December 30, 2022, he made his comeback. With a strike percentage of 155.40 and an average of 40.55 throughout 13 games, the southpaw had a fantastic season at the plate. Despite having 14 points from as many games, DC finished sixth in the standings. Hence, Pant was unable to lead his team to the playoffs.
