Delhi Capitals have won the toss and opted to bat first against LSG in the 40th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). The game is being played on the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, and LSG will aim to enter the list of ‘top four’ teams with a win in this game.
Meanwhile, the LSG skipper and star wicketkeeper-batter, Rishabh Pant, attracted the eyeballs for his hilarious antics at the time of the toss before the LSG vs DC game in Lucknow.
It all started when DC skipper Axar Patel had won the toss and was about to decide to bowl first, but Pant was seen saying ‘batting, batting…’ to prompt Axar to opt to bat first.

LSG eye 'top four' list with win against DC
Speaking of Rishabh Pant’s LSG in the ongoing IPL 2025, they are currently placed in the fifth spot in the tournament’s points table, with five wins and three defeats in their eight games so far, with a net run rate of 0.088.
