Gujarat Titans (GT) are set to take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a key clash in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Wednesday. The Titans have two points from two games and are high on confidence having beaten the Mumbai Indians (MI) in their last encounter. Anuj Rawat, who spent the last few seasons with RCB, is currently with GT and was seen in a playful mood during the flight to Bengaluru.

Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan was in deep sleep when Rawat began singing the famous Bollywood song ‘Aaj ki party meri taraf se’. Rashid woke up confused and had a quizzical look on his face before he could process what was happening. The former RCB wicketkeeper was also seen asking a few members of the team their views on playing in Bengaluru.

RCB’s former player spoke about his memories playing in Bengaluru and the video then panned to Rawat having a conversation with Sai Sudharsan. GT’s young opening batter said, “For the past three months I was in Bengaluru and I developed a lot of connections (in NCA)." Washington Sundar, who is a former RCB player as well, said, “It’s always great to go to Bengaluru. The vibe is going to be unreal."

Aakash Chopra ponders about RCB”s strategy at home

After winning the first two games of the IPL 2025 season, RCB now will look to make a bright start when they play at home on Wednesday. Former India batter Aakash Chopra was live on his YouTube channel and wondered how RCB would approach the game in front of their home fans.

The 47-year-old said, “It's RCB's first home game. They have reached here after winning two successive games. They beat the defending champions KKR in Kolkata and breached the Chennai fortress by beating CSK in Chepauk. However, how will they play at home?"

Chopra also said, “They are one of the few teams whose numbers at home are not that good, but they have come after such good victories away from home, and the team is looking strong with a quality bowling lineup. If this team plays well at home, their qualification will look good. So Bengaluru must start very strongly at home.”

“The focus will once again be on their explosive batting lineup. Phil Salt will play on this ground for the first time, and such batters generally like this ground. Virat Kohli played a run-a-ball in the last match, but you might see his Virat form here, as was seen at the Eden Gardens. Rajat Patidar was lucky in the last match, but he is pulling his weight in the side as a captain and as a batter,” the 47-year-old went on to add.
