Star India pacer Arshdeep Singh is set to be in action for Punjab Kings in the upcoming Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). He was recently a part of India’s Champions Trophy 2025 winning squad. He will be a vital cog in the wheel for PBKS in their hopes of lifting the maiden IPL title with a win in the upcoming edition of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Kings recently shared a heartfelt video to welcome Arshdeep Singh into their camp ahead of IPL 2025. Two stand-up comedians and content creators for PBKS, Piyush Sharma and Jasmeet Singh Bhatia recreated a scene from an Indian movie ‘Don No. 1’ while welcoming the star pace spearhead.

The video of Arshdeep Singh making his way into the PBKS camp is also making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by the franchise on X (formerly Twitter).

In his short but sensational T20I career of just 3 years while playing for India since his debut in 2022, Arshdeep Singh became the leading wicket-taker for India in the T20Is. He has scalped 99 wickets in 63 innings, including two four-wicket hauls and a best performance of ‘4 wickets at just 9 runs in a game.’

Besides that, He made his IPL debut for Punjab Kings six years back in the 2019 edition; since then, he has been playing only for PBKS and has featured in 65 IPL games. In these appearances, Singh has bagged 76 wickets in 65 innings, including two four-wicket hauls and a five-wicket haul. It also includes his best performance of ‘5 wickets at just 32 runs in a game.’

Punjab Kings under the captaincy of their newly appointed skipper, Shreyas Iyer, will start their IPL 2025 journey with their campaign opener against the Gujarat Titans on Tuesday, March 25, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
