Young India leg-spinner Priya Mishra left everyone awestruck with her sensational bowling against UP Warriorz Women (UP-W) in the third game of the ongoing Women’s Premier League 2025 (WPL 2025). She trapped some of the big batters of UP-W batters, including the likes of Tahlia McGrath, Grace Harris, and their skipper Deepti Sharma.
The stunning moment for everyone came in the 11th over of the first innings when Mishra came to bowl for Gujarat Giants Women (GG-W). First, she trapped star middle-order batter Tahlia McGrath in an LBW dismissal on the third ball of the over followed by a bowled dismissal of Grace Harris on the fifth ball of the over.
The video of both these amazing dismissals executed by Priya Mishra immediately went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter).

Speaking of the action of the ongoing game between UP Warriorz Women and Gujarat Giants Women, the GG-W skipper Ashleigh Gardner won the toss and asked UP-W to bat first. Batting first, UP-W posted a total of 143 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Skipper Deepti Sharma played a crucial knock of 39 runs off 27 balls, with six fours following wicketkeeper-batter Uma Chetry’s 24 runs, with four fours.
Star GG-W spinner Priya Mishra scalped 3 wickets at just 25 runs in her four-over stint, alongside four wickets bagged by Deandra Dottin and skipper Ashleigh Gardner. Besides these, Kashvee Gautam bowled the most economical spell, conceding only 15 runs in her four overs and claiming a wicket.
While chasing the target, Gujarat Giants Women had scored 41 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 5.5 overs at the time filling this. Skipper Ashleigh Gardner and Laura Wolvaardt were there in the middle at individual scores of 23 and 18 runs, respectively. Grace Harris and Sophie Ecclestone had scalped a wicket each so far.
