WATCH: Oshane Thomas slammed for 15 runs off one ball by Naeem Islam in BPL 2024

In the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Oshane Thomas was slammed for 15 runs in just one ball by Naeem Islam. Thomas started the over with a no-ball then bowled a valid delivery in the next ball. However, he again bowled a no-ball in the next delivery and was also hit for a six by Islam. He then bowled two back-to-back wides and then a no-ball which was hit for a four conceding 15 runs after 0.1 over.

Naeem Islam, playing for Chittagong Kings, scored one boundary and six in the over, making an overall tally of 18 runs in the over. However, Thomas dismissed Islam in the last ball with a tricky delivery. This incident has evoked controversy as to how a bowler delivered so many extras in an over. Even though this over didn't cause much damage to the Khulna Tigers, the controversy related to match-fixing is going viral.

This was the third game of the tournament which gained a lot of attraction from the crowd and cricket fans from all over the world. The video went viral on social media, where Thomas was hit for 15 runs in one ball. It was a bizarre incident that no bowler would want to experience in their career.

Khulna Tigers clinched victory over Chittagong Kings by 37 runs

The Chittagong Kings won the toss and chose to bowl first. Skipper Mohammad Mithun might have regretted his decision of choosing to field because of William Bosisto's fiery innings from the start of the game. In the first innings, the Tigers scored 203 runs, thanks to William Bosisto's 75 runs off 50 balls and Mahidul Islam Ankon's 59 runs off 22 balls.

However, Shamim Hossain tried to save the game for the Kings by scoring 78 runs in 38 balls, including seven boundaries and five sixes. Abu Hider Rony was the best bowler for the Tigers as he claimed four wickets and helped the team win the game. Ankon was given the Player of the Match award for his astounding batting in the middle overs.
