Rishah Pant talks about keeping against Bumrah Photograph: (X)
India are off to a good start against Australia on day two in the fifth Test match, courtesy the bowling attack. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj have wreaked havoc on the batters, dismantling the top order. Bumrah has been exceptional with his bowling performance since the start but Siraj has supported him very well.
Meanwhile, before the start of the day, the commentators engaged in a thoughtful conversation with India's wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant. The player was asked about how it feels to keep wickets to Bumrah, to which he replied saying, 'Oh man!'

Pant said, "Oh man! It's actually pretty difficult because the kind of angle he creates, sometimes you have to move on one side little quicker and when the edges come on the other side you just have to manage. It's quite difficult but part of the job I would say."
This series has been a rollercoaster ride for Pant when it comes to batting. He has lost his momentum and finding it difficult to gain it as well. In the first innings, he scored 40 runs in 98 balls, the highest score of the team. He has consistently failed to convert his scores, attracting criticism towards his batting. India scored 185 runs in the first innings where Scott Boland claimed four wickets.

I feel they had a little chitchat: Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant spoke about the little incident that happened between Jasprit Bumrah and Sam Konstas during the final overs on the first day of the fifth Test match. Bumrah has a heated exchange of words with the 19-year-old who started the conversation. As per Pant, it was his way of trying to delay the game.
"I feel they had a little chitchat; they wanted to waste some time. I feel that's the reason Konstas had a conversation with Jasprit Bumrah. He said something; I didn't hear it. But I feel that's the only thing which he wanted to do—waste some time so we don't get to bowl one more over," said Rishabh Pant at the post-day press conference.
