WATCH: Official broadcasters release special promo for high-octane ENG vs IND Test series this summer

In a recent piece of news, the official broadcasters released a special promo for the upcoming high-octane England vs India Test series this summer in June 2025. The high-voltage Test series between two cricketing powerhouses will be played in England, starting on June 20 later this year.

‘Badlega khel, kyunki badla hai India’ wrote the official broadcasters while sharing the official and special promo for the five-match Test series. The video of this ENG vs IND promo immediately went viral on social media as soon as the official broadcasters shared it on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).

Notably, the first Test series between England and India will be played at the Headingley in Leeds on June 20 followed by the second Test on July 2 at the Edgbaston in Birmingham. The Test series will be played till August 4, 2025, as the fifth and last Test of the series will commence on July 31, 2025.

Here’s a look at the schedule of the England vs India five-match Test series:

First Test: June 20-24, 3:30 PM (IST) – Leeds 
Second Test: July 2-6, 3:30 PM (IST) – Birmingham 
Third Test – July 10-14, 3:30 PM (IST) – London 
Fourth Test – July 23-27, 3:30 PM (IST) – Manchester 
Fifth Test – July 31 – August 4 – 3:30 PM (IST) – London

Currently, India are coming off a historic Champions Trophy 2025 title win in the recently concluded prestigious cricket quadrennial. The Men in Blue defeated New Zealand in the final of the tournament by 4 wickets to clinch their third title in the history of the Champions Trophy since the tournament’s inception in 1998.

Interestingly, it was for the second time after 2013 that India won the Champions Trophy title, being unbeaten throughout the entire tournament from the league stage to the summit clash.

Now, all the Indian players and most of the English players will be in action in the upcoming Indian Premier League 2025.
