The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team won the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on March 9 after beating New Zealand by four wickets. It was an incredible win for the team, as they were unbeaten in the tournament. Rohit played an outstanding knock of 76 runs off 83 balls, hitting seven boundaries and three sixes. There were so many moments that will be etched in the memories of the fans for a really long time.
One of those moments was seeing head coach Gautam Gambhir raise his hands to dance to celebrate India's win in the finals. Cricketer-turned-commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu forced the head coach to shake his legs after the game. Gambhir was elated by the victory and did what Sidhu had asked him to do. While it wasn't a proper dance, he enjoyed the moment and tried to get along with the others.

Mohammad Shami is Mr ICC: Aakash Chopra
India's former cricketer, Aakash Chopra, was present in the stadium when India won the trophy. After a breathtaking final, Aakash went on to praise Mohammed Shami for his astounding performance in the tournament. The player came out of an injury and performed for his team when it was needed.
"Mohammad Shami is Mr ICC. He had taken 205 (ODI) wickets before this match - fastest to 200 wickets by an Indian. He has been brilliant but it's his first ICC trophy. He has played a lot of trophies but hadn't been able to lift a trophy. The discussions were about Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's fourth trophies, but no one was talking about Shami," said Aakash Chopra.
