Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lost their fourth match in a row in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Tuesday. CSK lost by 18 runs to Punjab Kings (PBKS) to be rooted at ninth spot in the table. During the course of the game, Ambati Rayudu and Navjot Singh Sidhu were seen trading barbs with each other.
Rayudu was heard saying that Sidhu was changing his loyalties during the course of the PBKS vs CSK encounter. To which Sidhu hit back by saying, “Dekho girgit (Chameleon) kisi ka aardhaya dev hai toh who tumhara hai.” (Look, if Chameleon is someone’s role model, then it is you.) While Rayudu was seen saying it in jest, it seems Sidhu was in no mood to let it slide.

Chennai Super Kings under pressure to turn the season around
Ruturaj Gaikwad and his side have now lost four games in a row after beating Mumbai Indians in the first game of the season. Chennai will next play defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders at home. Speaking after the game, Ruturaj Gaikwad said that the fielding was the difference in each of the last four games which CSK had lost.
Gaikwad also praised PBKS opener Priyansh Arya and said, “Priyansh played well. High-risk batting and it came off well. We were getting wickets at regular intervals but they kept the momentum going. 10-15 runs fewer would have helped us. But it comes down to dropped catches. It was spot-on in the batting perspective.”
24-year-old Priyansh Arya was named man of the match for his efforts and said, “Out of the world feeling, I feel very happy but I feel I should contribute more to the team. Shreyas told me to bat with intent; you go for it even with your first ball after I got out last match.”
