The former England captain Nasser Hussain makes a hilarious comment about Ramiz Raja's statement on low scores during Pakistan vs Canada match in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The game was held at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Tuesday, June 11. While Canada was batting, they reached a stage where they were 90/7 in 17.5 overs when Ramiz Raja on AIR said, "If they can get to 110 or 115, maybe."

To his comment, Nasser Hussain said, "I hear 119 is a hard score to chase on here". The fun banter between two former players was enjoyed by the fans as the video of their conversation went viral.

Pakistan won the match comfortably with seven wickets to spare as they had to chase 107 runs. While they took 17 overs to chase, Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan made a good partnership and made sure they took the team past the victory line. However, the only disappointing thing was their strike rate, as they played with 100.00.

'We had NRR on the back of the mind' - Skipper Babar Azam after winning the match against Canada

After an impressive batting against Canada, Pakistan's captain, Babar Azam, talked about the NRR. He was elated after winning the match since these two points were really important. They had to win the match or else they would have been eliminated from the tournament.

"We had NRR on the back of the mind. The first six overs are very crucial here. You assess after 6 overs. Then we tried to take on the spinners. We are going to go with the same mindset," said Babar Azam.
