Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 50-runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) game on Saturday. This loss meant that Punjab saw their unbeaten start to the season end in front of their home fans. RR’s social media handle posted a short video where PBKS player Musheer Khan could be seen imitating his captain Shreyas Iyer’s style of walking.

The video began with RR player Yashasvi Jaiswal telling Musheer “Kar na ek acting thoda karna. Bhai ek baar live to dekhne de”. (Just do his acting once, let us all see it live). Musheer then began walking the same way Iyer does and was seen leaving others with his perfect impression.
Iyer, Jaiswal, and Khan have shared the dressing room for Mumbai in domestic cricket. 23-year-old batter Yashasvi Jaiswal is set to play for Goa in the coming domestic season. The left-handed batter was the top scorer for RR with 67 runs that helped his team become the first ever side to post 200 plus score at the Mullanpur Stadium.
Australian pacer lauds Ricky Ponting’s coaching style
Xavier Bartlett is yet to make his IPL debut for Punjab during the ongoing season. Right-arm pacer who has played a handful of games for his national side was full of praise for Ricky Ponting’s coaching style. The Aussie seamer also said that Ponting has a good understanding with Shreyas Iyer and both the coach and skipper share a great bond.
Speaking to ANI, the Aussie seamer said “He's (Ponting) one of the great cricket brains. He's obviously played so much cricket and has a wealth of knowledge and also coached over here as well, which I think is sort of his style that he's brought in. When we're at training, he's very structured and expects the most out of us”
Bartlett also said “The intensity of everyone's training has been really good. He's cool, calm and doesn't panic. Along with him and Shreyas, I think that those two really complement each other really well. It's been amazing to play under him; he was an idol of mine growing up. To get that opportunity to work with him has been really good”
