The Mumbai Indians women's team have had a good time in the tournament, winning three out of five games played until now. The players have done well in the third season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025. Even though they lost their previous game against Delhi Capitals (DC), their NRR didn't drop, and they are in the second position on the points table.
South Africa's bowler Shabnim Ismail, who is with the MI team, hasn't had a good tournament so far. In five games, she has claimed five wickets at an average of 26. She was seen in MI's latest video of connecting the team with the local Mumbai traditions. Ismail was asked to catch the local Mumbai train, which was extremely difficult. Reaching on time and getting past the huge crowd to take the train is a task.
However, the player did it gracefully, avoiding all the obstacles she faced. Rapper Srushti Tawade was in the video with the player who gave her the challenge in the first place.

The Mumbai Indians women's team, who have just lost two games in the tournament, might have a strong chance of qualifying for the semi-finals. As per the rules of the tournament, the top two teams will directly qualify for the finals, while the next two teams will play an eliminator to qualify for the finals.
The tournament has just got interesting. Now, the race to the playoffs will be full of excitement and thrill at the same time. Delhi Capitals are the first team that have qualified for the playoffs as of now.
