Former Indian Cricket team skipper MS Dhoni was spotted in Michigan enjoying a National Football League (NFL) game with his friends on vacation. One of Dhoni's friends, Hitesh Sanghvi, uploaded a video on social media where Dhoni was seen wearing the Michigan team jersey to show his support. The former CSK captain has been a football follower since a long time. Even during the practice sessions of the cricket matches, Dhoni used to play football.
He certainly has a history with the game since he wanted to be a goalkeeper. But his childhood coach urged him to take up wicketkeeping gloves instead of football, and the rest is history. Dhoni's dedication to sports is great, as he has been caught watching various other sports multiple times.

After being busy with cricket during the IPL 2024 season, Dhoni has finally taken out some time for himself and went on a trip with his friends to the United States of America (USA). The greatest captain of the Indian Cricket team is yet to make an announcement on his continuation with the CSK team. However, the decision is pending because of BCCI.

Will MS Dhoni participate in IPL 2025?
The big question regarding the 18th edition of the IPL still revolves around MS Dhoni's participation in the league. While the Board hasn't disclosed their retention policies, Dhoni hasn't been able to come to any conclusion yet. Reports suggested that the CSK team requested for the uncapped player policy, which would have allowed Dhoni to stay for some more years with the team without spending a lot of money on him.
But most of the other franchise members went against it. The decision was controversial and took the internet by storm. Nevertheless, the CSK CEO came forward and disclosed that the franchise made no such demands. Now the wait is for the Board to make their retention policies official, which will help the CSK franchise decide on Dhoni's future.
