Siraj hit Siuu celebration after taking wicket

Mohammed Siraj provided an excellent start for India in their warm-up match against the Australia Prime Minister's XI by successfully bundling Matt Renshaw early in the innings.

This Pink-ball warm-up fixture, taking place in Canberra, saw Indian skipper Rohit Sharma win the toss and opt to bowl first under humid conditions. The Indian strike pacer, Mohammad Siraj, capitalized on the overcast weather, swinging the pink ball in both directions during the initial overs. In the 5th over of the first innings, Siraj delivered a perfect outswinger that caught the outside edge of opener Matt Renshaw, leading to an easy catch for the slip fielder.

Siraj showed his disciplined bowling by targeting the left-hander's off-stump line effectively. In an attempt to defend, Renshaw edged the ball, resulting in a sharp catch by Devdutt Padikkal at second slip. Renshaw failed to make a mark as he departed for just five runs without troubling the scorers.

After taking the wicket, Siraj hit footballing legend Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic Siu celebration and celebrated the wicket with the entire team.

This warm-up fixture is of immense importance as the Indian team looks to end Australia's Pink Ball winning streak at Adelaide in the second test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
