In the ongoing 1st Test match between India and New Zealand, Matt Henry has proved to be the standout player with the ball. So far, he has taken fifer along with a stunning catch, running down from fine leg to square leg, covering a lot of ground to his left. His eyes were on the ball as he was running, and he went on to take the catch, which seemed impossible at first.

Jasprit Bumrah was batting on one run when he played an unnecessary shot towards the square leg. The ball was just short of length and attacked the body. Additionally, Bumrah tried to use the pace and hit the ball but failed massively. William ORourke has successfully used his height and pace to finish India's batting attack within 50 runs on day two.

India were all out on 46 runs because of New Zealand's magnificent bowling efforts. The batters could not settle down, as the bowlers maintained a perfect line and length. Moreover, New Zealand's fielding was top-notch, as they missed only one catch throughout the entire innings. Even though the first day of the Test was called off, this game won't end in a draw.

Matt Henry picks up fifer vs India in 1st Test match

New Zealand's pace bowler Matt Henry wreaked havoc on the Indian batters with his terrific bowling performance. He kept changing his line and length and took wickets at regular intervals. He was also on a hat trick. He took the wickets of Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant, which put pressure on India. The batters failed to defend the ball and threw their wickets by playing some unnecessary shots throughout the innings.

The standout batter for India was Pant, who scored 20 runs; apart from him, no other batter touched the 20-run mark. Also, five batters, including Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, went out for a duck. This was one of the most disappointing performances by Indian batters.
