Devon Conway's heroics are trending all over the internet as he jumped to his right to take a one-handed blinder to dismiss Sarfaraz Khan. Matt Henry's length delivery just outside off tempted Sarfaraz to hit the ball, but the position went wrong as the ball touched the edge of the bat and travelled straight towards extra cover where Conway was present.

The catch wasn't an easy one, as he had to jump, but he eventually did it. Sarfaraz came in as a replacement for Shubman Gill, who missed the match due to injury. However, he couldn't do justice to his position in the first innings as he played a poor and unnecessary shot that wasn't required at the time.

Moreover, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma also got out cheaply as well, which was quite disappointing. Kohli got out on a duck while Rohit scored two runs. New Zealand's bowling was extremely brilliant as they swung the ball both ways and frustrated the batters. This wasn't the kind of start India expected.

Shubman Gill and Kane Williamson miss 1st Test match

India's Shubman Gill and New Zealand's Kane Williamson missed the 1st Test match as they suffered injuries. Gill is suffering from neck stiffness, while Williamson suffered an injury in the previous series against Sri Lanka and hasn't recovered yet. Moreover, they are expected to return for the next Test match.

The second day of the 1st Test match finally started at the correct time but then again was interrupted due to rain. Before that, the New Zealand bowlers were on a roll as they dismissed the top three batters, including Kohli and Rohit. Now, the youngsters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant were on the field, trying to get India to a good total, before the rain came pouring down.
