MI’s social media team put up a short video of Jayawardene and the Ambanis thanking the chefs for their contributions. The game against Delhi Capitals was the final home game for MI at the Wankhede Stadium, as they now fly out to Jaipur for their final game against Punjab Kings.

Coach Mahela Jayawardene was heard saying, “This is our final game here (in Mumbai); we probably came here for practices many days, right? There is a group of guys who work really hard here. Not just these guys but other guys with the bags as well, but I couldn’t get all of them.” The cameras panned to the chefs who had worked tirelessly to keep MI players in shape during the season.

Each and every member of Mumbai Indians team, including skipper Hardik Pandya, was seen appreciating the efforts. Jayawardene also said, “You know they work really hard, late hours, whatever and whenever we come, so thank you, guys.” The short video also illustrates the bonhomie in the entire Mumbai Indians’ camp. Nita Ambani also welcomed the backroom staff members to join the celebratory chants.
