The Wankhade Stadium, Mumbai, was all decked up to celebrate its 50th anniversary with the presence of the stalwarts of the game of cricket. Starting from Sunil Gavaskar to Ravi Shastri to Rohit Sharma, a few of the current players marked their presence during the event on January 19. It was a colourful evening with players dancing on their feet and enjoying the music around them.
A video went viral on social media where Gavaskar was spotted shaking his leg on the famous song, 'Om Shanti Om' at the stadium. Everybody around him seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere that was going on throughout the evening. Even captain Rohit Sharma was grooving to the songs and called Shreyas Iyer up on the stage to dance with him. However, Iyer politely declined his request.
