Kagiso Rabada (Source: X)
South Africa's Kagiso Rabada went through a completely unusual experience while he was batting against Sri Lanka in the 2nd Test match. In the 89th over, when Lahiru Kumara was bowling, Rabada's bat broke by the delivery. Kumara bowled a hard length off the seam, and Rabada went forward in defense to hit but, as the ball struck the high on the bat, and the handle came down crashing.
The players were stunned by this incident, which led to Rabada changing his ball. The whole scene was pretty exciting to watch for the players from both teams. Rabada played well in the first innings, scoring 23 runs in 40 balls. He batted like an actual batter but was then dismissed by Asitha Fernando.

Pathum Nissanka's brilliant display of batting stuns South Africa
In response to 358 runs, Sri Lanka scored 242 runs by the end of day two. They are trailing by 112 runs and have seven wickets in hand. It was Pathum Nissanka who rose to the occasion and scored 89 runs in 157 balls, including 11 boundaries and one six. He was just brilliant with his approach and played extremely well in the 2nd Test match.
Nissanka is one of those consistent batters in the team who takes on the responsibility and performs as per the demand of the situation. Apart from him, Dinesh Chandimal scored 44 runs in 97 balls. Angelo Matthews and Kamindu Mendis are batting on 40 and 30 runs, respectively. Sri Lanka has a good chance to take a decent lead and push the Proteas on their backfoot.
