Former West Indies' legendary all-rounder, Kieron Pollard, is doing wonders in the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 league as the captain of the New York Strikers. At the age of 37, the man is playing new and unique shots that haven't been heard of before. Pollard has never been a cricket book player. His shots have always been unorthodox, but the amount of power he adds to each shot allows the ball to travel far away.
In the game against UP Nawabs, Odean Smith bowled a short delivery that was travelling away from the off stump, more towards the wide line. Pollard saw the ball's line of travel, followed it and went behind the off-stump, around the wide line, to hit it. It was a unique way of hitting the ball, and no batter has ever pulled off something like that before. However, he failed to make the connection.
Have you ever seen a batter standing behind the stumps⁉️😳

Pollard's enthusiasm for playing cricket hasn't stopped yet which is a good sign for the team. He is a terrific batter but couldn't do much in the game. He scored 12 runs in 21 balls. NY Strikers scored 75 runs in 10 overs at the loss of six wickets. Thanks to Dewald Brevis' 33 runs in 16 balls, including one boundary and three sixes, the Strikers reached a respectable score.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz's solid innings led to UP Nawab's victory
UP Nawab's opener, Rahmanullah Gurba,z wreaked havoc on the Strikers' bowler and snatched the match away from them from the first over. He played like a leader, leading from the front and winning the match for the team. He scored an unbeaten 31 runs in 21 balls, including four boundaries and one six.
Avishka Fernando and Andre Fletcher helped him throughout, scoring 17 and 18 runs, respectively. Hence, the Nawabs won the game by nine wickets. Sunil Narine could only manage to take one wicket.
