Former West Indian star Kieron Pollard is currently playing the Hundred tournament for the Southern Brave side. The Braves took on home team Welsh Fire on Monday night in Cardiff in front of a packed crowd.

Tymal Mills was bowling to David Willey and the former English batter went for a huge hit down the ground. Kieron Pollard took an easy catch and turned around giving the Cardiff crowd an angry look. The video was posted from the official X handle of the league.

It isn’t clear as of now what prompted the reaction from the former West Indian star. “Kieron Pollard is not amused by the home crowd, nothing wrong in having a bit of fun” captioned the Hundred’s official X handle.

James Vince fires Southern Braves to easy win

Southern Braves batted first and posted a competitive 139/5 from their 100 balls. The star with the bat for the visiting side was England batter James Vince who scored 73 not out from 50 balls. His knock included 7 fours and 3 sixes.

Haris Rauf got the ball rolling for the home team when he dismissed Alex Davies for 16. Leus Du Plooy scored 21 runs before he was dismissed by Kiwi pacer Matt Henry. Kieron Pollard scored 17 runs from 12 balls with the help of two sixes before he became Haris Rauf’s second wicket.

Chasing 140 runs for a win, Craig Overton began by getting the huge wicket of Jonny Bairstow for 16. Tymal Mills then got the wicket of Luke Wells for 8 after the opening batters had added 29 runs in 29 balls.

Danny Briggs then got the wickets of skipper Tom Abell and Joe Clarke in a space of three balls to peg back the hosts. David Willey was the only shining light with the bat as he scored 21 runs from 14 balls.

Welsh Fire were all out for 97 runs from 95 balls with Haris Rauf being the last man out for 4 runs. The best bowler for the Southern Braves was Tymal Mills who picked 4 wickets for 16 while Danny Briggs ended with 3 wickets.
