The Bangladesh cricket team has shocked the entire cricket world with their performance in the ongoing Test series against Pakistan. They won the 1st game and are doing wonders in the 2nd game. They dismissed the hosts under 300 runs in their own backyard and now are trailing by just 45 runs. However, Pakistan's Khurram Shahzad has claimed a 6-wicket haul in the match by dismissing the most prominent batters of the opponents.
Moreover, he completed his five wickets by catching Mehidy Hasan Miraz's shot, who was well-settled and playing on 78 runs off 172 balls. The batter hit the ball straight to Shahzad, who had been waiting for such an opportunity. He seized the moment with the match and also went on to take six wickets in the innings.

Only Mir Hamza took two wickets apart from Shahzad, while the rest of the bowlers remained wicketless. This is the only reason why Bangladesh batters went on to score 222 runs. Pakistan's opener, Saim Ayub, scored 58 runs off 110 balls, skipper Shan Masood scored 57 runs off 69 balls, and Agha Salman scored 54 runs off 95 balls. Apart from them, no other batter scored as many runs as him in the 1st innings.
Liton Das smashes century in 2nd Test against Pakistan
In the ongoing 2nd Test match, Bangladesh's middle-order batter Liton Das scored a magnificent century, helping the team score runs. While the batting attack failed massively, it was Liton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz who held the game from two ends and built a beautiful partnership. While Das is still playing on 111 runs, Mehidy was dismissed on 78 runs off 124 balls.
Now Bangladesh requires 45 runs more to complete their trail. If, by chance, they get out before completing the runs, they can bowl well and dismiss the hosts just like they did in the 1st game. Bangladesh's bowling attack is terrific and they still have a chance to win the game.
