The fielding legacy of Pakistan continues in the ongoing 2nd Test match against Bangladesh as the fielders have made a terrific blunder on the very first ball of the match. In Rawalpindi, fielder Saud Shakeel dropped a catch of Bangladesh opener Shadman Islam, who edged the ball to the fifth slip. It was an embarrassing moment for the player and the fielders surrounding him as they couldn't get hold of the ball.

The dropped catch gave a solid lifeline to the Bangladeshi opener, but still, he couldn't convert it into a great innings and got out cheaply for ten runs off 23 balls. After the dropped catch, on-field umpire Richard Kettleborough was stunned to see the incident which disappointed him.

Bangladesh's batting order failed to perform on the 3rd day of the 2nd Test match. Starting from the top order, the wickets kept falling at regular intervals and are now trailing by 156 runs. They have four wickets left with two set batters playing on the crease. Litton Das scored 44 off 65 balls, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored 43 off 72 balls. If these batters manage to sustain for an entire session, runs will come easily.

Pakistan's failure continues in 2nd Test against Bangladesh

After Abdullah Shafique's wicket in the first over, the Pakistan team crashed like a house of cards. None of the batters took responsibility for building a partnership and moving the game forward. Opener Saim Ayub scored 58 runs off 110 balls, skipper Shan Masood scored 57 runs off 69 balls, and Agha Salman scored 54 runs off 95 balls.

Even though these batters hit half-centuries, they couldn't convert their innings into something big. Bangladesh's Mehidy Hasan Miraz is showing an all-round performance in the game. While bowling, he claimed a five-wicket haul and now with the bat, he has scored 43 runs already. Hence, he was one of the main reasons behind Pakistan's failure in the 2nd Test match.
