The US Open 2024 is drawing to a close with only a handful of matches left to decide who will emerge victorious in New York City. Many A-list celebrities from around the world were in attendance to witness the enthralling on-field action at the final Grand Slam event of the year.

From sports legends to movie stars, business tycoons and fashion icons were present in the stands to cheer on their favourite superstars. Tennis great Roger Federer and prominent comedian Kevin Hart attended the US Open 2024 quarter-final match between Frances Tiafoe and Grigor Dimitrov, which the American won 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-3, 4-1.

Meanwhile, a video had gone viral on social media that shows the hilarious differences between Federer and Hart’s reactions while watching the Tiafoe - Dimitrov clash. Federer's composed expressions were in stark contrast to Hart's vibrant reaction while witnessing the intense knockout match.

The Swiss legend can be seen enjoying the match with a nod and clap. On the other hand, the American comedian and actor was seen keeping a close eye on the action by moving his head side to side with the ball. The official handle of US Open Tennis shared the video with the caption, "Roger Federer watching tennis and Kevin Hart watching tennis. A play in two acts."

Kevin Hart explains the reason behind hilarious way of watching the match 

During an episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Hart explained the reason behind his hilarious way of watching the gripping quarter-final match. The 45-year-old and the host of the show are seen cracking up after seeing the viral video.

Hart explained that he didn't realise his head was moving in a seesaw manner and that he couldn't see the play clearly because of the guy sitting in the front row.

With his comprehensive win over an eventually-retired Dimitrov, Frances Tiafoe has set up an All-American semifinal vs. Taylor Fritz. Tiafoe’s upcoming rival defeated Germany's Alexander Zverev - 7-6 (2), 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (3) - in the quarterfinal.
