In the ongoing 1st Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, keeper Mohammad Rizwan took a stunning catch that initially seemed impossible. Bangladesh came in to bat, and ace bowler Naseem Shah seemed to trouble Zakir Hasan since the start of the game. Finally, he caught hold of the batter with a back-of-a-length delivery and angled across. It completely deceived the batter, and Rizwan's one-handed catch was the Cherry on the Cake.

He's a brilliant keeper, but the catch was exceptional. With that catch, Pakistan clinched their first wicket, which was extremely important. That was the kind of start they expected, and now it's time for the other bowlers to take charge and dismantle the entire team.

Pakistan scored 448 runs in the first innings thanks to Rizwan's 171 runs off 239 balls and Saud Shakeel's 141 runs off 261 balls. It's a sound batting track; if the Bangladesh batters try to form a good partnership, they can convert it into something big.

He had an idea when we would declare: Saud Shakeel

There was a controversy as to why Mohammad Rizwan was denied a double century when they had ample time for that. Skipper Saud Shakeel said that Rizwan was informed about the time when the team wanted to declare. So, he had a fair idea about it and was fine with the call.

"See, as far as Rizwan bhai's double century is concerned, I don't think there was a haste in taking the decision (to declare the innings). Because Rizwan bhai was clearly told an hour before that we would be declaring at this point in time. So he had an idea when we would declare. He was told we will try to near 450 before declaring," Shakeel said after the end of the second day's play," said Saud Shakeel.
