England are up against South Africa in the 45th match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. The Proteas did have an excellent start to their innings, but the man behind the stumps shocked the entire world with his wicketkeeping efforts. England's wicketkeeper and skipper, Jos Buttler, jumped up in the air to his left to catch the ball, which was going towards the boundary rope after an outside edge by Quinton de Kock.
Words fall short of describing the magnificent catch taken by Buttler, which showed his athleticism and fitness. The catch was taken in Jofra Archer's over, Buttler took the catch while the ball was travelling away from him. He somehow held his body balance and managed to get the blinder. The video went viral on social media as the fans enjoyed the dedication shown by the player on the field.

Not only catch, Buttler showed his fabulous presence of mind before dismissing Henrich Klaasen. It was a classic case of run-out where Klaasen was out of the crease, and Buttler, without even thinking, once threw the ball at the stumps. How he's been active on the field makes it seem like England will have a blast yet again.

Quinton de Kock and David Miller save the day for South Africa
In all the matches played by South Africa, David Miller has always made some contributions with the bat. If he fails in any match, the team collapse most of the time. In this game as well, Quinton de Kock and David Miller saved the day for the Proteas by scoring 65 runs and 43 runs, respectively.
Jofra Archer's magic restricted South Africa to 163 and didn't allow them to score more runs. With the kind of start they got, 180+ seemed very easy at one point in the game. Now, everything will depend upon England's batting. If they win this match, they'll be qualifying for the semifinals. If they lose, Group 2 games will be more contesting since four strong teams will be against each other playing for only two spots.
