After a prolonged break and some here and there games the English pace sensation Jofra Archer announced his arrival in T20 World Cup. In the 17th game of the tournament, England faced defending champions Australia.
Aussies had a flying start as opener Travis Head and David Warner added 70 runs in just five overs. However, a great bowling display from Moeen Ali and Jofra Archer pulled England back in the game. Ali dismissed Warner but the highlight was Archer’s iconic delivery to Head.
Archer clean bowled Travis Head with a perfect delivery, reducing Australia to two wickets down. Archer cleverly varied his pace and length, delivering a full ball aimed straight at the stumps. Head, attempting to clear his front foot and open up the off side, misjudged the delivery as it stayed unexpectedly low. His aggressive swing missed the ball, which then zipped past his inside edge and crashed into the stumps.

Can England stay alive in the championship?
With unseeded teams performing amazingly in the ongoing tournament, this game holds a huge significance for England. After sharing a point with Scotland in a rain-affected game English team would be keen to get back on the winning track.
