India's ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah cleaned up Sam Konstas in the second innings of the Boxing Day Test match, completing his revenge. The 19-year-old batter went after Bumrah in the first innings, scoring 14 runs in an over. He played some reverse ramp shots confidently, sending a message to the world that he's ready to take on the No.1 Test bowler.
Also, he made a gesture looking towards the crowd to cheer more after Virat Kohli's dismissal in the first innings. As Sunil Gavaskar said, 'They have a long memory, the pace bowlers', Bumrah proved it right by imitating Konstas' gesture. The batter had a good start to the innings but fell at eight runs in 18 balls. With a gap between the bat and the pad, Konstas was beaten by the pace of the ball. It was a back-of-a-length delivery by Bumrah which was coming in from outside off.

Bumrah now has 26 wickets in the series, the highest by any bowler. He's ruling over the Australian batters single-handedly. The hosts have a significant lead in the game and if one of their batters sticks around, there's a high possibility of posting a mammoth total on the board.

Nitish Kumar Reddy slams his maiden in Test cricket ton against Australia
Making his debut against Australia, Nitish Kumar Reddy has been quite an effective batter for India throughout the series. His significant contributions to the lower middle order have helped India escape tricky situations. However, he had a string of failed innings where he was dismissed in the 40s. He didn't make the same mistakes this time and broke off jinx of nervous 40s.
He slammed his maiden ton in 171 balls, hitting a lofted shot over the mid-on fielder. The ball went for a boundary, helping him complete his century. The player scored 114 runs, before getting dismissed. He was accompanied by Washington Sundar from the other end as both the young players formed the 127-run partnership for the eighth wicket, making history.
