WATCH: Ishan Kishan wears 'Superman' outfit at Mumbai Airport as punishment by Mumbai Indians

Ishan Kishan was spotted at the Mumbai Airport wearing a 'Superman' attire as a punishment given by the Mumbai Indians (MI). With this, Ishan becomes the first player from the MI team to get the punishment. The team management has a unique way of punishing their players for getting late or missing practice sessions. Even though the exact reason behind Ishan's punishment is not known, his attire speaks for itself. 

The video of Ishan donning the attire and leaving the airport surfaced on the Internet and within no time became viral. Viewers are enjoying the video where the logo of MI is on Ishan's chest. Along with being funny, Ishan looks cute in the Superman dress.

Mumbai Indians have had a rocky start to the tournament as they have lost their first three matches. While the first two matches were away games, the last match was in their backyard. However, they failed to win the match at the Wankhade Stadium leaving their fans disheartened. Considering MI's previous records, we can hope for a solid comeback from the franchise. 

Ishan Kishan's rocky IPL 2024 start

Ishan Kishan is one of the best batters in the T20 format and has been a consistent performer in the IPL tournament. However, this season he has failed to achieve big scores as of now. Even though his starts are great in the powerplays, he hasn't been able to convert them. He along with Rohit Sharma open the innings for the MI team where both the batters have failed to score. 

Recently, MI lost their home game against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) where they were 20-4. Even though MI is the strongest team in IPL history, the decline in MI's batting order is worrisome for the franchise. The last three years haven't been good for the franchise, so they hope to have a positive result this year.
