The KKR and SRH will be taking on each other in the highly anticipated and ‘iconic’ Final of the ongoing IPL 2024. MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will host the summit clash of the 17th edition of the tournament. Interestingly, both teams had won the IPL titles in the past, with KKR winning 2 and SRH lifting 1 title.
Both teams will be eyeing increasing their number of IPL titles with a win in the upcoming ‘title clash’ of the current season of the tournament.
Meanwhile, the captains of both the teams, KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer and SRH skipper Pat Cummins, were seen in a ‘unique’ and ‘mesmerizing’ pre-final photoshoot, with the IPL trophy. It can be seen in the video that both the captains are at Marina Beach in Chennai for this photoshoot; they were also seen travelling in an auto-rickshaw.
The video of this ‘pre-final photoshoot’ including both the captains, is also making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared from the official X handle (formerly Twitter) of the IPL.

Speaking of KKR and SRH before the final, both teams are coming off with some contrasting results on their credit. KKR became the first finalists of IPL 2024 with an 8-wicket win in the first qualifier against SRH. Later, Pat Cummins’ SRH got another chance in the second qualifier where they faced ‘Eliminator winner’ RR.
The orange outfits comfortably defeated RR by 36 runs to become the second finalists of the ongoing IPL 2024 and face the KKR in the summit clash of the tournament. If they manage to beat KKR, it will be the second IPL title for SRH in their 11-year-long IPL career since making their debut in IPL 2013.
On the other hand, ‘mentor’ Gautam Gambhir’s KKR will be eyeing their third title in the history of the tournament since they won their last title 10 years back in the 2014 edition of the tournament, when ‘mentor’ Gambhir was the ‘active skipper’ of the team.
