A hilarious incident took place in Nagpur when the Indian team arrived at the hotel ahead of the ODI series against England. India's veteran support staff, Raghavendra Dwivedi, was stopped by the police officials who were guarding around the team bus. They misunderstood him as a fan and didn't allow him to get inside the hotel. However, after someone shouted from behind, saying he was the coach of the team, the guards allowed him to proceed.

In the T20I series against England, India's dominant performance helped them win by 4-1. The spinners were the highlight of the series, especially Varun Chakaravarthy, as he claimed 14 wickets in five games, including one fifer. Varun is now on the ODI squad as well, but the board hasn't made the news official yet.

He knows how to switch on and switch off: Suresh Raina

India's former cricketer Suresh Raina backed Virat Kohli ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025. Kohli has been struggling to get runs on the board. Raina, who has played a lot of cricket with the player, urged the viewers to be patient and support the player as he'll do his best in the upcoming ODI series against England.

"When it comes to white-ball cricket, Virat knows how to switch on and switch off. He has scored the most runs against England, so his energy will be at a different level automatically. The three ODIs will be played in Nagpur, Ahmedabad, and Cuttack—all of which are high-scoring venues," said Suresh Raina on Star Sports.
