The stage is all set for the highly anticipated World Test Championship 2023-25 final between Australia and South Africa. The summit clash of the prestigious cricket biennial will be played at the Lord’s in London, starting on June 11 to June 15. Both teams will aim to win this game and clinch the historic WTC title.
Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council (ICC) recently released a star-studded promo for the WTC 2023-25 final to mark the 30-day countdown for the high-octane clash. The promotional video to build excitement for the iconic Test clash includes the active Test veterans of Australia and South Africa, including the former cricketing greats.
The video includes the Proteas skipper Temba Bavuma, star pacer Kagiso Rabada, star SA batter Aiden Markram, alongside Australia’s former skipper and modern-day great, Steve Smith. It also features blistering Aussie batter Travis Head. Among the former greats, the ICC promo featured the former Proteas greats Shaun Pollock and Dale Steyn, alongside Aussie legend Matthew Hayden and former Australia Women’s cricketer, Mel Jones.
Furthermore, the former England skipper Nasser Hussain, former legendary Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar and former India all-rounder Ravi Shastri can also be seen building the excitement for the WTC final in their outstanding voices.

ICC reveals prize money for WTC Final
In the same line of events, the International Cricket Council (ICC) also revealed the prize money for the coveted WTC title. A total of USD 5.76 million, which is way higher than both the previous editions of the World Test Championship.
The winners of the WTC will get USD 3.6 million, which is 2.0 million more than that of WTC 2021 and WTC 2023. On the other hand, the runners-up will earn USD 2.16 million.
