Former RCB skipper and the modern-day batting great, Virat Kohli, has left an outstanding mark with his batting performances in the ongoing IPL 2025. He recently became the only player in the history of the Indian Premier League to score 400+ runs in different IPL seasons. Notably, even at 36, Kohli has the highest number of half-centuries to his name in the tournament’s current season.

Meanwhile, the batting stalwart caught attention for his recent statement, in which he revealed his roommate choice among his RCB teammates. Kohli’s statement attracted an amazing response from the fans, be it those who listened to him live or those who got to know about it on social media.
Kohli was asked about his preferred room partner he would like to have among his teammates in RCB.

“I wouldn’t say Swastik Chikara because he doesn’t leave me alone. So, definitely not him,” replied Kohli laughingly during an event, which also left the audience in splits. For the context, Swastik has been seen around Kohli a lot of times in the ongoing IPL 2025.

‘He is very street smart’ – Virat Kohli on Jitesh Sharma

Furthermore, Kohli also named his preferred room partner and mentioned the wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma. The veteran batter also praised Jitesh for his brilliant presence of mind on the field.

“But one guy, I think he’s really, and he’s not opened up with me, is Jitesh [Sharma]. I would want to see that funny and raw side of him. Because I can see in his eyes that he’s got that wisdom, he is very street smart, as you can see on the field. He finds different ways to look at things. So, I would like to get to know him,” said Kohli.
