Sometimes, there come moments on the field of cricket which leave fans awestruck and speechless. It includes a couple of things, like on-field arguments, player-fan interactions and above all, the spectacular celebrations after taking a wicket or achieving a batting milestone like a century or a half-century.
A similar kind of incident happened in an age-group cricket match in India, in which two teams of teenage kids were taking on each other. In the same match, the batter attempted a run, but the non-striker didn’t move an inch from his position. It resulted in the batter and non-striker getting stranded at the same end.
Furthermore, what caught attention and left the fans in splits was the pre-wicket celebration of the bowling side’s wicketkeeper, alongside his teammates. After noticing the batter and non-striker at the same end, the wicketkeeper and other fielders started doing the ‘Bhangra’ dance even before dismissing the batter.
The hilarious video of this moment, when fielders started dancing ‘Bhangra’ style before dismissing the batter also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by a user on social media.

A similar kind of antics and celebrations can also be seen at the highest level of the game in the international cricket or in the franchise cricket leagues. The list also includes the ‘Kantara’ style celebration of the veteran India wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul, alongside Virat Kohli mimicking the steps of the veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor during celebration.
Apart from this, what attracted the eyeballs is the notebook celebration of the young LSG spinner Digvesh Rathi in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025. Earlier in the start of the tournament, he was fined by the BCCI for doing this ‘notebook’ celebration after taking a wicket. Later, he managed to find a loophole in it and started doing his ‘notebook’ celebration on the field after taking a wicket.
